Inauguration de la Grande Nef de l’Île-des-Vannes

The Grande Nef of Île des Vannes has been officially inaugurated, marking its full reintegration into the city.

Originally designed in 1971 by Anatole Kopp, Lucien Metrich, and Pierre Chazanoff, the Grande Nef closed its doors in 2014 due to structural deterioration and accessibility issues. Led by Chatillon Architectes, the renovation of this sports complex incorporates modern energy-efficient solutions and ensures universal accessibility, while preserving the techniques and historic materiality of the original 1970s project.
