designboom reflects on the transformation of the Grand Palais by Chatillon Architectes
We are pleased to share the article published by designbooman international reference in contemporary architecture and design, dedicated to the full reopening of the Grand Palais after four years of renovation.
The report highlights the scale of this transformation led by Chatillon Architectes—the most significant since the monument’s creation in 1900. The project restored the Grand Palais’s original volumes and circulation while incorporating new cultural uses and full accessibility. Both a place of memory and a space oriented toward the future, the building now reopens to the public, ready to host, in particular, exhibitions from the Centre Pompidou during its own renovation, as well as programming from the GrandPalaisRmn.
