On Wednesday, 11 June 2025, Fran\u00e7ois Chatillon took part in a conference organized by the Laboratoire d\u2019histoire permanente <\/em>du Centre Pompidou,<\/em>\u00a0held exceptionally at the Grand Palais Fun Beaubourg<\/em>, the session brought together architects, historians, researchers, and artists around a shared question: what if the Grand Palais and the Centre Pompidou, beyond their architectural differences, shared the same cultural utopia?<\/p>\r\n

This event is part of the program linked to the gradual reopening of the Grand Palais and reflects an active collaboration between two major institutions of the Parisian cultural scene. Alongside Antoine de Baecque, Nicolas Moreau, Hiroko Kusunoki, Boris Hamzeian, and many other speakers, Fran\u00e7ois Chatillon participated as chief architect for historic monuments, overseeing the renovation of the Grand Palais. The discussion provided an opportunity to explore two emblematic sites through lenses of memory, innovation, and vision for the future. The day concluded with a choreographic performance by Alexandra Bachzetsis in the Salon d\u2019Honneur, extending the reflection on space, the body, and the architectural experience.
